Arnetta LaShun Ellis is a 25 year industry veteran, with experience in talent representation, development, television and film production and music. As a Talent Representative, Arnetta worked at Amsel, Eisenstadt and Frazier Talent Agency, Coast-To-Coast Talent Agency and is the President/CEO of Entertainment Society, LLC,  a talent management, development and production company with partner Joseph B. Street.

Her television career began at Paramount Studios; working on such shows as Entertainment Tonight, Star Trek; The Next Generation and The Arsenio Hall Show. Following her four year tenure at Paramount Studios, Arnetta delved into the music industry, which landed her at Motown Records. From there she moved over to A&M/Perspective Records where she worked with Grammy Award winning producing giants, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis; who are most noted for the production of Janet Jackson, Prince and Usher’s most successful LPs. Arnetta enjoyed several years with this company before returning to television, where she served as Music Supervisor for the WB Network Variety Special for the teen group The JammX Kids; allowing her the opportunity to work with top recording artists Queen Latifah and Rihanna. Arnetta was also a producer on “Cant Dance, Don’t Want To,” a television movie starring The JammX Kids. She produced and co-directed the JammX Kids music video featuring Shaquille O’Neal and served as Music Supervisor for the group’s single, “Keep U Dancin,” which received air-play on Radio Disney. Ellis also held the position of Project Manager for Jennifer Lopez before deciding to follow her true passion of creating content and characters that would resonate with audiences worldwide.

Directing has always been a desire for Arnetta. She made her directorial debut with the short film Airport Girl and her follow up short film, Break the Silence, premiered at LA Live's Regal Cinema in an Academy Award qualifying festival. Arnetta's passion to bring the human condition and spirit to the big screen drove her to take film directing seriously and return to school to receive her degree in Film and Television Production. Her journey has taken her from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts to University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, where she received her BA degree in Film and Television Production.
